A Memoir of Self-Destruction and Therapy

Posted By: wbhazel1 on November 15, 2011 at 8:40 am

This Book Review published in The New York Times and written by Emily Gould gives us a glimpse of the memoir of a young woman who suffered from mania and how she lived with this frightful experience.

This story speaks to how with the aid of a gifted therapist she was given tools to make life tolerable primarily but much more worth living.

It speaks to how she adapted to and did not, in essence allow her personal demons to prevail.

It speaks to how she built herself a successful life and gives inspiration to many.

Please enjoy this review.
